Criminal Defense
Crowe Murder Case - Defended a 14 year old boy accused of murdering a friend's 12 year old sister. Two co-defendants (the 14 year old brother of the deceased and another 14 year old boy) confessed to the murder and stated the boy represented by Mr. McInnis was the killer having stabbed the 12 year old girl nine times. All three boys were tried as adults for murder and faced life in prison if convicted. After nearly a year of court proceedings all charges were dismissed against all three boys.

Wrongful Death - Plaintiff
Mr. McInnis sued a veterinarian for wrongful death when he ran down a nun who was crossing the street. Negotiated a six figure settlement for the parents of the deceased nun.

Personal Injury
Mr. McInnis sued an airline captain who left his lane and hit a woman head-on. Woman suffered soft tissues injuries and an injury to her wrist. The airline captain had been drinking. Negotiated a six figure settlement for the woman.
Insurance Defense
Mr. McInnis defended a trucking company accused of running over a bicyclist. Surviving children and grandchildren demanded $3.2 million in a wrongful death suit against the company and its truck driver. Mr. McInnis used advanced animations and accident reconstruction techniques at trial to show the trucking company and its driver were not at fault for the accident.
